Abby Reiken is our Family Educator. Abby formerly worked as our Assistant Educational Director for three years and taught many grade levels in the Religious School and Community Hebrew High School.

Abby has been at TIC for over nine years in a variety of roles including teacher, Assistant Education Director, Youth & Family Educator and now Family Educator. In her role as Family Educator, Abby works with all branches of the synagogue to develop and implement family and community programming. She also works with Youth Director Eliza Zipper on youth programs. Abby and her family are active members of the TIC community.

She is a graduate of Brandeis University and has a Masters in Education from Lesley College. She has taken graduate courses in Jewish education at the University of Judaism and has attended conferences at the Whizin Institute for Jewish Family Education, CAJE (Conference on Alternatives in Jewish Education), and the Jewish Theological Seminary.
