Windows on the Past, Door to the Future

Temple Israel Center's Centennial Year

After much planning and preparation, we embark on Temple Israel Center’s year-long Centennial. The motto of our Centennial year is “Windows on the Past – Doors to the Future.”  It is the aim of the religious and lay leadership of the synagogue to honor both parts of our slogan.  We hope to reflect on and celebrate our past with special events throughout the year.  At the same time, we hope to engage in a synagogue-wide discussion about our future. What about our community from our past and present should be preserved and what should be added to make our synagogue even stronger?  All are encouraged to join our celebration and make their voices heard as we proceed through this important year.
