How to volunteer in Synagogue activities

Volunteering has been an important part of Temple Israel Center for many years. Our members help improve our synagogue community by volunteering their time to projects they deem to be important. Synagogue members also volunteer in the larger community as part of our Social Action Coalition.

Our synagogue benefits far beyond the financial aspects when members contribute to service projects and to working with our professional staff on important synagogue projects.

Volunteer opportunities within the synagogue provide an environment for people of different generations to work together for a common goal, as well as offering an opportunity for mutual understanding.

The Volunteer Placement Committee serves as the TIC “Headhunters” in its efforts to place members looking for a way to lend a hand in synagogue activities. Contact this committee to explore all of the different ways to get involved and to make a difference.
