Temple Israel Center owns and maintains cemetery sections at both Sharon Gardens Cemetery in Valhalla, NY, and Glenville Cemetery in Glenville, CT. Our plots are available for sale only to current Temple Israel Center members, and for burial of persons of the Jewish faith. Both cemeteries are well maintained on a regular basis, and offer a tranquil and dignified setting as a final resting place for loved ones.

We urge our members to “plan ahead” and purchase a plot while your family is in good health. Waiting for the moment when the necessity of finding a place for a burial finally occurs, can be stressful and create unnecessary financial pressure for those families at a difficult time.

Cemetery plots are usually sold in groups of four graves per plot, and Temple Israel Center members in good standing may purchase a maximum total of eight (8) graves for their family’s use. There are also a limited number of single or double graves available at our Glenville cemetery location.
