Tikkun Leil Shavuot
Thursday, May 28, 9:00 pm to Friday, May 29, 9:00 am
For those who are comfortable viewing a Livestream over Yom Tov, the Rabbinical Assembly is proud to offer Tikkun Leil Shavuot: Torah from Coast to Coast on Erev Shavuot itself. The Tikkun will be offered on You Tube Live here and the full line-up is available here. Pre-recorded session and study materials will also be distributed by the Rabbinical Assembly for those who wish to prepare or learn in advance!
Yom Tov and Yizkor Services
Join us for holiday services including reading of the 10 Commandments and Yizkor.
7:00 am: Early Morning Shavuot Services (including Yikzor) with Rabbi Isenberg
9:45 am: Shavuot Services (including Yizkor) with Rabbi Tucker and Rabbi Levin Goldberg
Special resources for Shavuot services, including Yizkor and Ruth, can be found here.
8:01 pm: Shabbat & Festival of Shavuot Candle Lighting
NOTE: Because the Zoom platform only allows for a call to be open for 24 hours maximum, it is impossible to hold services on both days of Shavuot in the halakhically preferable way that has been recommended by the Committee on Jewish Law and Standards and agreed upon by TIC’s Executive Board, Board of Trustees, Ritual Committee, and clergy. For this reason, we will hold Shavuot services on the first day only, Friday, May 29, during which we will include the Yizkor prayers traditionally recited on day two in the Diaspora (and day one in Israel).
