The 40th year of the Learning Institute continues with the winter semester from Tuesday, January 19 through Tuesday, March 9. In order to cover the costs of this valuable program, the fee for this semester is $50/participant. We look forward to learning together!

A Book that Was Lost and Other Stories by S.Y. Agnon
Special emphasis will be placed on historic background, religious references, and the author’s unique and inspiring life which spanned the rich Jewish experience of Eastrern Europe and the emergence of a new and vibrant Jewish life in the State of Israel. As always time will be allotted for interactive discussion. Note: Both hard back and paperback editions are available on Amazon, used copies on Thrift Books.

Chumash with Rashi
We will look at each week’s Torah portion through the prism of the great rabbi’s famous commentary.
