If you have any Covid-related symptoms or are not feeling well, we ask that you not come to the building, but we hope you can partake in our programs and services via Livestream and Zoom.
For the safety of our community, everyone age 12 and older, other than those with a documented medical exemption, must be fully vaccinated in order to participate in TIC activities, indoors or outdoors. Someone is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after they have completed their primary series (meaning both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine). We also strongly recommend a booster dose for all eligible individuals. For ages 5-11, while vaccination is not required for participation, we strongly recommend it.
Masks are optional for all indoor services and activities, including Shorashim, Gesher, and Limmud. The reception hall is reserved for those who wish to sit in a masked and socially distanced environment during Shabbat and weekday services. Of course, those who wish to continue to wear masks should feel free to do so at any time or location throughout the sanctuary and building. B’nai mitzvah families will be asked to send these vaccination policies to their guests before events.
Please see the following NYSDOH guidelines to help answer questions you may have about when you may return to TIC if you are in isolation or quarantine for COVID19: https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/new-york-state-contact-tracing
The TIC Reopening Task Force will continue to review TIC’s protocols to ensure the safety and health of our community.
