Youth Shabbat Morning Services

With a new year comes new opportunities for all of our members to connect!

We have revamped our Shabbat morning prayer experiences for the youth of TIC. These new offerings will be engaging and meaningful spaces for joyous Judaism.

  • We will continue our Tot Shabbat, geared toward children under the age of 5.
  • New this year is our Kinder Minyan, geared towards children in grades K-2, led by a combination of parents and TIC staff.

For our older children 3rd grade and above, based on the particular Shabbat, we will be offering a Learning Minyan or a Junior Minyan.

The Learning Minyan (grades 3-5) will feature a condensed tefillah experience, paired with Torah study, games, and multi-modal learning.

The Junior Minyan (grades 3-12), building off of its tremendous success this past year, will take place 16 times over the course of the year led by a combination of parents as well as TIC clergy and educators. Junior Minyan will continue to maintain its focus as a space for building tefillah skills, gaining a sense of empowerment, and connecting with other young folks.

We’re so excited to start this new adventure on Shabbat morning Saturday, September 9 and are grateful for your passion and partnership. See weekly newsletter for times and locations.
