Our early childhood program, inspired by the schools in Reggio Emilia, Italy, provides a warm, inclusive, and nurturing environment infused with Jewish values and tradition. Children gain the building blocks necessary to become enthusiastic and confident learners through multi-sensory experiences, discovery, and problem solving. The program recognizes that children are eager to explore and learn, competent, capable, and ready to collaborate. They are full of wonder and delight!
Our developmentally appropriate curriculum enables learners to build strong habits of the mind, critical thinking skills, resiliency, and focus. Guided with best practices developed by early childhood experts, our compassionate educators nurture the social, emotional, and creative growth of our children. We have a brand new STEAM room that engages students in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math as well as an outdoor playground and a full sized indoor gym.
We offer programs for children turning 2, 2s, 3s, and pre-kindergarteners and extended hours in the mornings and afternoons, giving families flexibility. Our summer camp is staffed primarily with the same educators children encounter all year round, giving children a strong feeling of continuity and stability.
Parents are always welcome to come and participate and be part of the excitement of our school. Building relationships with families is the essence of Temple Israel Center Nursery School.
The last Friday of every month, parents, caregivers, and any other family members are invited to join with us to celebrate Shabbat in the Irene Schwebel Chapel with the clergy. We sing songs, tell holiday and/or Bible stories, and offer appropriate prayers.
Free Temple Israel Center membership with first year of enrollment!
